dCourseWeb is an online administrative package or perhaps more accurately stated, an online program management package that was designed to address several different aspects of online education. Some critical elements are student communication, processing, and retention. Working students through the program can require significant time and effort; therefore, dCourseWeb was designed to support students from cradle to grave using technology to save valuable man-hours and insure that no one is left behind.

To your right, are some dCourseWeb screen shots. The purpose is to illustrate some of the different looks and some of the pages used in this course management system. What's not shown is the system's integrated advising application that helps keep track of every student and his or her status in the program. The dashboard allows you to drilldown into courses, students, and statuses to ensure no student falls between the cracks. The built in bulk emailer sends personalized email to one or hundreds with just a click of the mouse.

The color combinations are almost limitless and there are 10 different layouts or template to choose from. Nevertheless, it appears that most prefer the default. As you can see, the logos, button styles, and number of buttons or links are all institution definable. Further, the institution's campus, for course augmentation, can have a completely different set of navigation buttons/links as well as different course lengths and starting dates.

The pages shown are login, course schedules, a course list, lecture, course calendar, dynamic form, syllabus, online help screen, an academic calendar (from institution's main site), and a dynamically populated form. Although there are many pages in the system that are dynamically built and somewhat standardized, weekly schedules, lectures, etc. are all free form and can have any look and feel your institutions desires.
